One day away from the weekend for most, not me, I will be happily working.  Let's take a quick look at where the 10 hottest communities in the Houston Area are right now.

Away from the heart of Houston, in smaller suburbs, is where some home buyers are looking and finding more affordable homes. Western and northern parts of Houston brought joy to lots of home buyer's heart and wallet because they were able to find what they were looking for at affordable prices.

For example, the average home price in Hockley community, 40 miles northwest of downtown Houston, was $340,358, while the average home price in the Houston area stood at $408,647.

So, for some first time home buyers that are still waiting on the sideline, don't let the news on TV or online scare you out of purchasing your first home.
