How Often Should I Fertilize My Lawn?

Good morning and welcome to Houston First Time Home Buyers Edition. Today we are responding to the question of how often you should fertilize your lawn. Experts agree that most lawns need six fertilizer treatments per year starting in February and ending in November with a light potassium feeding to get the turf ready for winter.

Expect the cost to start a about $50 per application and go up from there. Do keep in mind that the size of the lawn and the type of fertilizer used will most likely increase your cost. Additionally, fungicide, core aeration, chinch bug and grub control will add to your cost as well.

As always, thank you so much for stopping by. Remember, if you are thinking of purchasing your first home, please give us a call 713.204.8013 or Email us. We are here to help.
