Hi, there and welcome! I often tell clients to find a home with good bones, but most of the times they do not really know what that mean. Essentially a house with good bones means a house that does not look good on the outside, but the structure underneath is sound. For example,

  1. The floor plan may flow nicely.

  2. Rooms are spacious.

  3. Plenty of natural light.

  4. High ceilings.

  5. large windows.

  6. Good drainage.

  7. Problem free roof.

  8. No plumbing issues.

  9. Good use of space.

  10. original woodwork.

  11. Good wiring.
