Are you thinking of making any home renovations or installing a fence to your new home? If so, you may need to provide your survey to the contractor, so they will know where your property line begins and end. If you do not have one, you may need to order a new one depending on the kind of renovation you will be doing. Here are the 6 different types of surveys you will need to choose from:
Flood plains surveys - show flood hazard areas.
As-build surveys - show where improvements or additions can be made and also determine property lines.
Mortgage Surveys - shows the entire property boundaries to be mortgaged.
Land survey - shows the boundaries of a parcel of land.
Monumentation survey - if you are adding a fence to your property.
Topographic survey - for road improvements.
