Did you know if you are in the process of buying a home it is up to you, the buyers, to decide whether the listing agent or the sellers receive a copy of the inspection report.

A listing agent or seller who receives a copy of the inspection report is charged with knowledge of the information in the report even if the listing agent or seller does not open the report.

That means, if the report reveals any material defects, both the seller and the listing agent are obligated to disclose those defects to subsequent potential buyers.
